The committee reviewed and approved presenting several policy items to the Board of Education for a 30-day public comment period. These items included proposed Policy 7430 Substitutes, revised Policy 7440 Employee Assignment and Transfer, and the proposed repeal of Policy 7441 Transfers - Classified.

Members also requested a review of state statutes concerning remote meetings during emergency declarations to understand potential impacts on future proceedings.

The Board of Education meeting included the recognition of the Employee of the Month and a public comment session. The board discussed and approved a project ordinance transfer of bond deferred capital replacement funds to high-priority projects following the closure of a school. Presentations were provided regarding the transition to the Infinite Campus student information system, including features for students and families and the role of school-based champions. The board reviewed and approved several policy revisions, including updates to school safety, voting methods, technology use, staff-student relations, and student promotion and accountability, with specific discussion on credit recovery procedures.
