This Water Supply Service Area Plan outlines the Green Bay Water Utility's strategy for managing water resources from 2025 to 2045, ensuring compliance with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requirements. The plan focuses on defining the service area, inventorying water sources and consecutive systems, analyzing existing and projected water demand, and identifying alternate sources. Its core recommendation is to maintain the current Lake Michigan water supply and infrastructure to meet future needs, while ensuring the service area remains within the Great Lakes Basin.

The Green Bay Water Commission reviewed and approved the 2023 Annual Budget for the Green Bay Water Utility. The budget addresses the water system's safety, security, efficiency, redundancy, and reliability. Key areas of investment include upgrades to servers, firewalls, GIS, work order systems, phones, and computers to improve operational efficiency and minimize cyber security threats. Maintenance of the Utility's water mains, water relays on resurfaced streets, meter replacements, generator addition at Lake Station, and equipment and projects at the treatment plant are also budgeted. The budget also includes the addition of a joint Safety Coordinator with the City of Green Bay.
