This Campus Improvement Plan for Goodrich Elementary is designed to empower all students to pursue excellence and become college, career, or military-ready citizens of exemplary character. The plan is structured around five strategic goals: ensuring academic achievement, developing human capital, fostering community engagement, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, and promoting effective and efficient operations. Key priorities include curriculum alignment, data-driven decision-making, support for at-risk students, leveraging technology, responsible fiscal management, diverse communication channels, and staff development.

The meeting included a public hearing regarding the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. Administrative reports were provided covering curriculum and instruction data, various grants, facility renovations including the Ag Shop and Athletic facilities, and upcoming board training. Action items approved by the board included a counselor determination regarding work duties, the appointment of SHAC members, a waiver request for the Summer Nutrition Program, health curriculum approval, a class size waiver, amendments to the compensation plan, and a staff incentive bonus. The board also discussed TASB Update 126 and set the time for the December meeting and holiday meal. An executive session was conducted to discuss personnel, emergency operations, and consultation with legal counsel.

The board meeting included student recognition for rodeo art and secondary academic UIL students. The superintendent provided reports on curriculum, instruction, financial statements, and facilities maintenance. Board action items included the acceptance of a donation for the nurse's clothing closet, the renewal of teacher, nurse, and counselor contracts for the upcoming school year, and the ratification of a new elementary teacher hire. The board also reviewed reports regarding board member training and discussed the upcoming summer meeting schedule.
