Key school-based initiatives include optimizing meal times, promoting student hydration, implementing bullying prevention measures with anonymous reporting and standardized incident evaluation, disseminating information via quarterly newsletters, and utilizing student surveys to continuously improve the school climate and wellness strategies.

The meeting included student recognition for Spring athletes and FFA students. The Superintendent provided reports on curriculum and instruction, budget planning, audit status, facility maintenance, and board nominations. The Board administered the oath of office to newly elected candidates and proceeded with a reorganization of board officers. The Board reviewed and approved the District Investment Policy and Strategies, accepted donations, and ratified the superintendent's decision regarding personnel hires. Several agenda items were tabled for a future meeting, including the student wellness plan and vendor selection for athletic facility renovations. The Board also modified the schedule for the summer meeting.

The board meeting agenda includes a training workshop specifically focused on building projects. The session will follow standard procedures for calling the meeting to order, including a prayer and flag salute, and will provide an opportunity for public comment in accordance with local board policy.

This Campus Improvement Plan for Goodrich Elementary is designed to empower all students to pursue excellence and become college, career, or military-ready citizens of exemplary character. The plan is structured around five strategic goals: ensuring academic achievement, developing human capital, fostering community engagement, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, and promoting effective and efficient operations. It emphasizes providing high-quality learning experiences, recruiting and retaining skilled personnel, actively involving parents and the community, enforcing policies for a conducive educational setting, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
