Work consists of. Removing an existing 8-in flanged gate valve system along with long operating shaft extension and intermediate supports as well as a handwheel actuator and pedestal; furnishing and installing a new 8" flanged, knife gate valve system, electric motor actuator, along with long operating shaft extension, intermediate shaft supports, and a pedestal; furnishing and installing a flow sensor and controller system, including communications cable; furnishing and installing a skid-mounted solar powered operating system, complete with rechargeable batteries, solar panels, telemetry, enclosures, electronics, and appurtenances to provide sufficient power for the flow measurement system, the telemetry panel, and the chloride monitoring system as well as internal components for the solar powered operating system. Enclosure shall be sized to accommodate hardware and components to be furnished and installed by others; Furnishing and constructing a concrete pad for the new skid-mounted solar powered operating system and securing the skid platform to the concrete pad.

Provide new panelboards and motor control center. The existing electrical equipment has met and exceeded its life expectancy and needs to be replaced with new. Disconnect all existing branch circuits and remove as called for in these contract documents. Provide new branch circuits from the new equipment as indicated.
