The selected vendor will provide comprehensive ambulance billing and revenue cycle management, including electronic claim submissions to all payers (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance), claim follow-up, denial management, patient billing, and setting up payment plans. The contractor will integrate with the authority's existing electronic Patient Care Reporting system (First Due), deliver monthly key performance indicator and financial reports, provide staff documentation training, maintain regulatory and HIPAA compliance, and deliver consultative services to optimize reimbursement.
