The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting proposals to reconstruct and improve approximately 425 linear feet of access and safety trails within the Iguaca Aviary located in El Yunque National Forest. The work includes assessing existing trail conditions, repairing culverts and drainage features, constructing/reconstructing trail steps and erosion-control measures, and supplying all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials needed. The project is expected to be completed in about 153 days and the contractor must maintain scheduling flexibility to accommodate ongoing aviary operations.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) — Marketing and Regulatory Programs Business Services (MRPBS) issued a presolicitation to procure an annual preventative maintenance service agreement for diagnostic laboratory equipment at the Dorado lab in Puerto Rico. The work includes onsite technician visits, inspection and limited replacement of worn or broken parts for a list of specific instruments, and contractor customer support; the agency identifies BioAnalytical Instruments as the intended source within Puerto Rico.
