Fort Berthold Community College

The 2022-2027 NHSC Strategic Plan outlines five key goals: enhancing fiscal strategies to support student and community needs; providing diverse resources and support to enhance student success; developing rigorous, competitive, student-centered curriculum; incorporating MHA culture, language, and spirituality into all educational and organizational aspects; and building engaging relationships between the college and the communities it serves. Specific objectives under each goal address areas such as fiscal resource improvement, employee recruitment and retention, institutional effectiveness, facilities and IT infrastructure expansion, data-driven decision-making, advising process updates, recruitment efforts, dual credit/dual enrollment programs, student retention and persistence, graduation rates, K-12 partnerships, faculty development, curriculum revision, community-focused programming, CEU program development, cultural reflection in campus facilities and events, cultural education opportunities, cultural training and awareness, NHSC alumni program development, and community outreach.
