This guide outlines the minimum requirements for asset management plans for local governments in New Brunswick, building upon previously established requirements. It addresses nine key components: Governance, Inventory of Assets, Condition Assessment, Level of Service, Climate Change, Risk Assessment, Cost Analysis, Financial Planning, and Priority Setting. The overarching aim is to foster more informed decision-making, enhance risk management capabilities, and ensure the sustainable delivery of services through improved asset management practices.

This Rural Plan provides a foundational framework and decision-making tool for the municipal Council to guide the development of the Village of Rexton. It divides the municipality into zones, defining designated land uses and mandatory standards for buildings and structures, while prohibiting non-compliant activities. Key policy areas addressed include residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional development, recreational facilities, natural resource management, water source protection, preservation of historical and archaeological sites, environmental conservation, and regulations for adult entertainment.

The Strategic Plan for the Village of Five Rivers, covering the period of 2023-2027, aims to create a welcoming, safe community with a hometown feel, appreciating nature and respecting the environment. Its core mission is to build a sustainable future through heritage, nature, and inclusivity, fostering a prosperous community. The plan focuses on three key areas: ensuring reliable infrastructure and environmental responsibility through asset management and climate action plans; cultivating a resilient and diversified economy by attracting businesses and supporting tourism; and developing a connected community through initiatives like a Community Wellness Plan and partnerships for housing and recreation.

This Municipal Emergency Measures Plan (MEMP) outlines the procedures for a municipality to provide a prompt and coordinated response to various emergencies. It covers comprehensive emergency management, including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery phases, leveraging an all-hazards, Incident Command System (ICS)-based approach. Key components include hazard assessment, detailed response organization involving a Municipal Emergency Coordination Centre (MECC), communication protocols, resource management, and established procedures for declarations of local emergencies and evacuations, aiming to build a disaster-resilient community through continuous improvement.

This Ministerial Regulation establishes the Harcourt Local Service District Rural Plan under the Community Planning Act. The plan's objectives are to encourage compatible land uses, protect natural resources, preserve the quality of life and rural character, and promote harmonious development with active resident participation. It details policies and proposals covering residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, resource (agriculture, forestry, mining, peat), recreational, heritage, environmental conservation, Crown land, and water supply protection, alongside zoning provisions and general development standards for the district.
