The contractor shall perform removal and replacement of the door and make all necessary alteration to the cooler walls to fit the new larger door. Mobilization of materials to include purchase and delivery of new door and all materials need to complete the installation to the institution. Assemble or install all rigging equipment needed for installation. Disassemble and remove existing door to include all electric and plumbing connections. Make necessary cuts to cooler walls to enlarge the doorway to accommodate oversized door. Ensure proper supports are in place to stabilize the structure of the cooler during alterations. Install new lintel to support the header and ceiling of the cooler and maintain structural integrity of the unit with new larger doorway. Install new overlay frame and door making all adjustment for proper fitment. Test the function of the door opening, closing, latching, and gasket seals. Extent and connect all electric and plumbing connections to new door and wall. Install capping over new door jamb. Paint all surfaces to match the color of the door as close as possible. Restore electrical power to the door and verify all heated surfaces are heating properly. Install a new heavy-duty barrel lock set on the exterior of the door. Dispose of old door and all debris generated from alterations to the cooler.
