Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the Cherokee Family Enrichment Center (IDD Facility); submissions are due July 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM local time at the Ginger Lynn Welch Building (Spicewood Room 133) in Cherokee, NC. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk-through is scheduled for July 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 53 Echota Church Rd, and complete bid documents may be obtained from the project architect (Ethan Ward) via email or a Newforma Info Exchange link upon request. The project will follow Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) policies and mailed proposals should be sent to Becky Bowe, PO BOX 455, Cherokee, NC 28719.

Requesting statements of qualifications from construction management firms or teams of firms for the purpose of selecting a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR). The CMR will work alongside the design team during the development phase of the project and will be fully responsible for construction of the facilities once a final design is complete. The project is a two and a half story structure containing approximately 35,000 square feet that will house archeological collections, laboratories, conservations labs and other resources to help the Eastern Band of Cherokee to preserve cultural resources.

Contractor to provide work under contract for the construction of new ceremonial grounds. The project includes an amphitheater, shade structure, 2 - restroom pavilions, 8 - standard pavilions, associated site improvements, and utility expansions or connections as required.
