The U.S. Navy has published an active presolicitation for construction of an aircraft apron and adjoining taxiway at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal. The design-bid-build project includes concrete aircraft parking and taxi areas, taxiway improvements and pavement markings, an access road, and vehicle parking. The RFP is anticipated around October 13, 2026; the notice says its response date is an estimate that may change when the RFP is issued.
