The purpose of this project is to renovate the hvac equipment at the recycling treatment plant's filter, flocculation, and sedimentation building, and source water pump station. Create heat loading models in trace 3d plus or similar of each of the facilities and provide a recommendation on total required heating and cooling loads for each facility. Perform duct pressure drop and natural gas pipe sizing calculations for all equipment to be replaced; provide a materials analysis on the radiant heaters and coatings for the natural gas piping to select the best materials to be compatible with the chlorine in the facility. Consider alternative materials, such as ceramic, and provide a recommendation. Update system designs to ensure that hvac systems meet all current building, mechanical, fuel and gas, and energy efficiency code requirements.
