The plan aims to significantly improve the future of transit for residents and visitors in Broward County.

The Broward County Trauma Plan outlines comprehensive strategies for managing trauma care within Broward County from 2023 to 2027. It focuses on optimizing pre-hospital care, enhancing in-hospital treatment at designated trauma centers, establishing a robust organizational structure led by the Broward County Trauma Management Agency, and ensuring adequate financial support. The plan emphasizes continuous quality improvement through data collection and evaluation, preparedness for mass casualty incidents, and public education on injury prevention, with the ultimate goal of reducing trauma-related morbidity and mortality and ensuring timely, high-quality care for all residents and visitors.
