The meeting focused on assigning committee members to various community events and refining strategies to increase participation for special needs and physically challenged individuals in the Red Bank Classic 5K. Discussions also included updates on the business directory and planning for the Community Spirit Award, specifically regarding application materials and timeline adjustments. New business items addressed a social media project to feature community members on Facebook and the potential expansion of the committee's social media presence to Instagram.

The Planning Board discussed the Red Bank Community Energy Plan, which outlines strategies for improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and promoting renewable energy adoption in municipal and private sectors. The board also reviewed a minor subdivision application for 64 Locust Avenue, which proposes splitting an existing large waterfront lot to accommodate the construction of a new residential home.
