The Ocean County Utilities Authority Regular Meeting
The Board discussed and authorized several resolutions, including final quantity change orders for clarifier rehabilitation and interceptor rehabilitation projects. They approved the execution of a Distributed Energy Resource and Peak Saver Agreement with Voltus, Inc. and a five-year agreement with Synagro-WWT, Inc. for the marketing of biosolid pellets. Additionally, the Board authorized electric and natural gas procurement through reverse auction services, a new vision services contract, and the award of the Fresh Pond Interceptor rehabilitation contract. The Executive Director also presented a proposed Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) disposal rate of $130 per 1,000 gallons for future rate hearing consideration, and the Board approved the schedule of vouchers for payment.
