Town of Royalton Selectboard Selectboard Meeting
The Selectboard addressed several community and municipal issues, including a request to reconsider a land donation and the classification of an aggressive dog report. Financial and infrastructure approvals included an Otto Merrill bid award, a FEMA project loan for the Broad Brook Stabilization project, and an engineering amendment for the same project. Numerous requests for usage of the Town Green were reviewed, resulting in approvals for fire department events, the annual Trunk or Treat, and a farmers market modification, while a commercial request was denied. Discussions were held regarding building community grants for a mobile clinic and recreation upgrades. Additionally, the board scheduled upcoming community events, authorized a candidates' forum, and entered executive session to finalize the hiring of a part-time Finance Manager.
