This Accessibility Plan outlines the measures the District of Logan Lake will take to address and remove barriers for individuals with disabilities, ensuring equal access to municipal services and facilities. The plan focuses on three primary goals: increasing physical accessibility of public spaces, improving communication access, and enhancing transportation accessibility. It aims to achieve an inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities can access services, facilities, and programs with ease, ultimately fostering a fully accessible community by identifying and prioritizing barrier removal.

The bylaw establishes a Revitalization Tax Exemption Program (RTEP) to encourage new investment in Logan Lake's Industrial Park, renewable energy projects, and the commercial core. The program aims to stimulate economic activity, create jobs, and attract new residents by providing tax relief to property owners undertaking significant developments within the revitalization areas. Eligibility criteria, exemption terms, and application processes are defined, with the District of Logan Lake Council retaining the right to adjust the program based on individual applications.

The Economic Development Strategy for the District of Logan Lake outlines practical steps to enhance the community's economic future. It focuses on five main goals: enhancing economic and community development, creating a community of excellence for industry and business, fostering creative place-making and a sense of community, increasing awareness of Logan Lake, and ensuring disaster preparedness. The plan aims to improve economic conditions, attract new investment and residents, and build a more prosperous and resilient community.

This Official Community Plan for the District of Logan Lake serves as a roadmap for sustainable development and community well-being. Key strategic pillars include fostering compact and diverse human settlement, enhancing efficient multi-modal transportation, strengthening economic diversification, and protecting the natural environment and cultural heritage. The plan also prioritizes reducing community-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 10% from 2007 levels by 2020, promoting a pedestrian-friendly and accessible community, ensuring high-quality new development, and encouraging public and inter-governmental cooperation.
