The meeting included reports and discussions on enrollment trends through the academic year 2024-2025, including rebuilding after the pandemic, freshmen enrollment prospects, transfer students, and CUNY Reconnect metrics. The committee discussed and approved several action items, including the establishment of an Advanced Certificate Program in Health Information Management at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, and a Certificate Program in Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at York College. Additionally, they approved the closure of the Department of Health, Physical Education & Recreation at Bronx Community College, transferring its programs to other departments. The committee also approved the appointment of Kristin Andrews, Karin Beck and Claudia V. Schrader with immediate tenure at CUNY Graduate Center, Lehman College, and York College respectively. Furthermore, they approved the appointment of multiple distinguished professors across various CUNY colleges and approved actions in the Faculty Personnel Matters Report and the Curriculum and Academic Policy Dashboard Report. Lastly, they approved the participation of the Grove School of Engineering in the Inter-University Engineering Doctoral Consortium and approved the waiver of tuition and fees for visiting students enrolled at City College as part of the Inter-University Engineering Doctoral Consortium.
The meeting addressed several key areas including finance and administration, education policy, advancement and external affairs, and facilities planning and management. The Finance and Administration Committee report included various personnel actions such as appointments, resignations, and salary changes across different colleges. The Education Policy Committee focused on seamless transfer credit within the same academic major, amendments to the Hunter College Charter of Governance, and approvals for faculty personnel matters and curriculum policies. The Advancement & External Affairs Committee addressed the naming of scholarship funds and facilities at various colleges. The Facilities Planning and Management Committee approved interior upgrades, renovations, and lease amendments for multiple colleges.

Additionally, they approved a Doctoral Program in Neuroscience at the Graduate School and University Center, an Advanced Certificate in Public Scholarship, an Associate of Science Degree Program in Behavioral Science at Guttman Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Program in Adolescent Teacher Education and an Advanced Certificate in Media and Information Literacy in Education at Lehman College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bilingual Early Childhood and Childhood Education at Queens College, and an Advanced Certificate in Disability Advocacy, Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Policy, Advanced Certificate in Children's Program Administrator Credential and a Master of Arts Program in Early Childhood Policy and Leadership at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. The committee also approved the closure of the Counseling Department at LaGuardia Community College, the transfer of Degree Authority for Programs to the CUNY Graduate School and University Center, amendments to the Charter of Governance at Hostos Community College, the appointment of Michael Hughes with immediate tenure at Baruch College, and the Faculty Personnel Matters Report. The committee also discussed and approved the CUNY Master Plan.
The meeting included updates on the 2024 CUNY MWBE & SDVOB Procurement Conference, events participation and sponsorship, University Human Resources---Workforce Demographics, CUNY Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access Conference, and Diversity Dialogues. Discussion topics included professoriate/non-professoriate ranks, outreach for diversity dialogues, and the strategic plan of the University Advisory Committee on Diversity (UACD).
