The board meeting included a Revenue Neutral Rate hearing and a budget hearing. The board adopted a resolution regarding the property taxation policy. An additional item was added to the agenda to include the names of two new hires. Student representatives discussed school activities, including Homecoming, student council conference, FCCLA Take AIM conference, and the FFA Back to School dance. The board approved the consent agenda, which included the approval of the regular board meeting minutes from August 11, 2025, payments of current bills, and activity accounting funds. Community meetings were scheduled to discuss the upcoming proposed bond. The Technology Director submitted a report, and the administrators reported on various school activities and projects. The board discussed possible road treatment on the gravel around the Elementary school and a quote for Epoxy Flooring. The board entered into an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel and approved Joe Claycamp as Custodian and Morgan Schumaker as Elementary Para, and to look for additional support in a new Counselor position.
