Wingate University Research And Education Farm Strategic Plan
This strategic plan outlines three core objectives for the Wingate University Research and Education Farm. The first objective focuses on developing and maintaining a diverse agricultural landscape to prepare students with skills in agricultural food systems, facilitate student and faculty research, and engage community partners. The second objective aims to manage collaborative project-based demonstration spaces, fostering student experiential learning, K-12 agricultural education, and connecting university staff with regional agricultural professionals. The third objective is to serve Wingate University, Union County, and surrounding areas through food production and hunger relief programs, engaging students, faculty, and staff in these efforts and supporting local food system initiatives.
