BoardGPISD Education Foundation Board Meeting
The board discussed the need to update the Policy and Procedures Manual and established a committee for this task. Fundraising updates included planning for the annual fund drive, moving the golf tournament to a new course, and setting a marketing and raffle prize budget for the Casino Night. Scholarship and mini-grant processes were reviewed to ensure documentation is included in their respective binders. The board also discussed the election of new officers, the proposal of new members, and the YMCA literacy program, which received a donation from the Dr. Susan Simpson Hull Scholarship Fund. Financial reports were reviewed, including checking and money market balances.
