Aliceville City Council Meeting
The council addressed several items, including a progress update on the Aliceville trailer park situation and the opening of bids for the park concession stand, with the successful bidder to be notified. The council approved putting the bid for cleaning ditches back out for two more weeks. Additionally, a parade permit was approved in honor of a deceased U.S. Army Sergeant. A rental fee waiver for the Aliceville Senior Activity Center for a community program was granted. Several award presentations were made, including a recognition for individuals who assisted at a traffic accident and a retirement resolution for an officer. Finally, updates were provided regarding traffic management at the city park, a report on emergency response efforts, and the acquisition of new equipment for the fire department.
