The Dodge County Comprehensive Plan is a roadmap designed to guide coordinated and harmonious development, land use, and resource management over a 20-year period. Its primary purpose is to preserve the county's rural character, protect natural resources, enhance economic and housing opportunities, and ensure efficient service delivery. The plan addresses key elements such as issues and opportunities, housing, transportation, utilities and community facilities, agricultural, natural, and cultural resources, economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, and land use, aiming for well-planned development and a balance between regulation and property rights.

The Wildcat Creek Nonpoint Source Watershed Implementation Plan focuses on improving surface water quality to meet TMDL limits for total phosphorus and sediment, increasing citizens' awareness of water quality issues, and reducing runoff volume and flood levels. The plan recommends best management practices, information and education activities, and restoration efforts over a 10-year implementation period. It aims to reduce sediment and phosphorus loading from agricultural fields and uplands, control runoff from barnyards, and increase water storage through wetland restoration. The plan also emphasizes the importance of public awareness, participation, and collaboration among stakeholders to achieve its goals.

The resolution authorizes the 2021 and 2022 COVID Premium Bonus Plan for eligible Dodge County employees, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The plan includes bonus payments for both full-time and part-time employees, with specific amounts allocated for different periods and employee categories. The resolution also authorizes the Finance Director to amend the 2021 and 2022 Dodge County Budgets accordingly.
