It aims to accelerate reductions in emissions from buildings and transportation, targeting net-zero by 2045, while promoting sustainable growth and redevelopment.

This document outlines the Sustainability Plan for the City of Bowie, comprising 57 strategies, 25 goals, and 103 actions. The plan focuses on key areas such as fostering jobs and business growth, promoting health and wellness, protecting nature and wildlife, enhancing communication and community engagement, and improving education.
