Lubbock Independent School District Board of Trustees Board Meeting
The board meeting featured recognitions for student excellence in the Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event and celebrated the district's receipt of the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction award and the Texas Education Theatre Association Award of Distinction. The board also deliberated on and approved the continuation of the Optional Flexible School Day Program partnership with Graduation Alliance, which focuses on dropout recovery and assisting students in achieving workforce readiness.
