This document outlines how Hazlet is utilizing its American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. The plan focuses on implementing prevention and mitigation strategies for safe in-person learning, addressing the academic impact of lost instructional time through evidence-based interventions such as virtual tutoring and summer programs, and enhancing social-emotional learning initiatives. Additionally, funds are allocated for technology upgrades, including 1:1 Chromebooks, and increased technical support. The plan emphasizes ensuring equitable interventions that respond to the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of all students, particularly those disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, through meaningful stakeholder consultation.
