The plan addresses infrastructure challenges, implements a proactive marketing strategy to attract visitors, and prepares local businesses for the influx of new consumers. Key initiatives include infrastructure updates, trail development (Bluffside Farm Trail Connector), and marketing campaigns to promote Newport's outdoor recreational opportunities. The overall aim is to create a vibrant downtown that serves as the economic, social, recreational, and cultural center for northeastern Vermont.
