Following the closed session, the commission considered reconvening into open session and taking action on the Firefighter eligibility list and any conditional offers of employment for Firefighter candidates and Fire Interns. The board discussed a variance request for a property on Ridgeview Drive, LLC. The board also discussed a variance request to allow for the construction of a garage located between the principal building and the front property line. The board further discussed the criteria for each of the "Findings of Fact" as follows: Preservation of Intent, Exceptional Circumstances, Economic Hardship and Self-Imposed Hardship not Grounds for Variance, Preservation of Property Rights, Absence of Detriment.

The meeting included discussions and reviews of several site plans. An expansion of the sales/inventory parking lot at Kunes Buick GMC of Oak Creek was reviewed. Amended site and architectural plans for an addition to Oak Creek Veterinary Care were also under consideration. Additionally, a sign plan amendment for the replacement of the Drexel Town Square monument sign was reviewed.
