The Board convened in an Executive Session to discuss one investigative matter and two financial matters, which concluded following formal motions. In the subsequent Corporation Proceedings, the Board approved the publication of a legal notice pertaining to past due water bills, noting that unpaid amounts as of March 1, 2026, will be re-levied on the 2026-2027 Village Tax bill. Additionally, the Board approved a legal notice for a public hearing regarding the redevelopment of 2765 Delaware Avenue (the former Kenmore Presbyterian Church site), scheduled for January 20, 2026. The Board also authorized the Mayor to sign the Abstract of Audited Vouchers dated January 6, 2026, totaling $330,990.54 across the General, Water, and Sewer Funds.

The proceedings began with an Executive Session to discuss two litigation matters and two financial matters. During the Corporation Proceedings, the Board approved a resolution amending the 2025-2026 Police budget to address a Police Traffic Safety Grant of $1,761.68. The Board also approved the hiring of a seasonal employee for the Department of Public Works, Joseph Rizzo. Furthermore, the appointment of John Dollendorf to the Examining Board of Plumbers for a three-year term was approved. The Board approved a Negative Declaration and the final plan establishing the PUD plan for the Victoria Place Planned Unit Development project concerning the conversion of the former St. Paul's School to senior housing. Finally, the Board authorized the Mayor to sign the Abstract of Audited Vouchers dated December 16, 2025, totaling $619,163.42 across various funds.

The Planning Board addressed several agenda items, starting with a request for signage approval and the installation of a retractable stainless steel security gate for a new pharmacy at 1807 Kenmore Avenue, subject to review by the Kenmore Fire Department. Approval was granted for window clings and website signage for a business at 3030 Delaware Avenue. The Board reviewed a Planned Unit Development (PUD) proposal to convert the former St. Paul's School into thirty-seven low-income senior apartments, which includes exterior modifications, ADA accessibility upgrades, on-site laundry, and a community space. The application was forwarded to the Board of Trustees with a recommendation for PUD approval, contingent upon Trustee review of the generator placement and referral of any site plan, design, signage, landscaping, or lighting changes back to the Planning Board.

The board meeting included discussions and approvals related to Village Board Rules of Procedure, mayoral appointments to various positions and Village Board committees, designation of time and place of board meetings, designation of Key Bank as the official depository, and the Investment/Fiscal/Administrative Policy for the Village Treasurer. The board also authorized the Clerk/Treasurer to select paying agents for destroying paid municipal obligations, approved advance payment of claims for recurring charges, granted authorization to purchase on state and county contracts, designated official newspapers, approved village officials attending official meetings, and approved a resolution for unpaid village taxes for inclusion in the 2026 County Tax. The Mayor was authorized to sign the Abstract of Audited Vouchers.

The board held an executive session to discuss financial and personnel matters. The board approved a resolution amending the 2025-2026 budget to address the Police Traffic Safety Grant. They also approved free parking on Delaware Avenue for December, excluding the area around the Municipal Building. The Mayor was authorized to sign the Abstract of Audited Vouchers. A member of the public requested the fencing around a temporary tower in Mang Park be left up and the area be designated as a dog park, which the Board agreed to consider.
