The Dickinson State University (DSU) Strategic Plan 2021-2026 outlines key priorities to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities in higher education. The plan focuses on seven strategic goals: 1) providing relevant programs when and where students want them; 2) developing a financially sustainable plan; 3) equipping students for success (including retention); 4) investing in faculty and staff; 5) fostering an inclusive campus community; 6) cultivating community engagement and partnerships; and 7) working with industries to create relevant workforce programs. These goals are supported by specific objectives aimed at improving enrollment and retention, enhancing financial stability, increasing student success rates, supporting faculty and staff development, enriching campus experiences, strengthening community partnerships, and developing programs aligned with workforce needs. The plan builds upon DSU's mission, vision, and values, and aligns with the State Board of Higher Education's goals.
