The Wayne County Commission approved Amendment No. 7 to a cooperative agreement with Carahsoft Technology Corp. The amendment extends the agreement for one year to continue providing Docusign Enterprise Pro for State and Local Government with Enterprise Premier Support. It also increases the total agreement amount and extends the term of the agreement.

The Wayne County Commission approved Amendment No. 1 to a five-year contract with Granicus, LLC, to add single sign-on (SSO) integration functionality for the Granicus GovDelivery platform. The amendment increases the total contract amount and the Chief Executive Officer is authorized to execute the amendment on behalf of the Charter County of Wayne. The amendment includes updates to services, enhanced security products, and modifications to compensation, ensuring compliance with the County's policies.

The board meeting covered the approval of the Fiscal Year 2022 Michigan Department of Corrections Funding Application. Presentations were given by Sherita Johnson of Champions of Tomorrow, focusing on support for economically disadvantaged individuals, and by Anthony Muller of Samaritas, highlighting resources for substance abuse disorder recovery. Public comments were also received.

The board reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Fourth Quarter Report. A presentation and discussion took place regarding the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) program utilization and key performance measurements. The board also discussed the Scope of Work for the Community Violence Prevention Intervention request for proposals, and a subcommittee was formed to work on this. The Fiscal Year 2023 schedule for quarterly meetings was received and filed. Finally, the board noted the recommended appointment of Andrea Smith to the board and heard an introduction from a new MDOC Program Manager.

The board reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2022 funding application, discussed the re-appointments of Janella Robinson and Norris J. Howard, and addressed the increase in required meetings from three to four times per fiscal year. An operations update from the Michigan Department of Corrections was also provided, along with discussion of the year-end report due October 31, 2021.
