The committee meeting agenda includes the review and filing of the Foundation Financial Report and the City Military Support Committee Account report. Discussion items feature reports from military unit representatives, a review of budgets for these units, and the review and approval of the updated Military Support Committee Sponsorship Program. Additionally, the committee will discuss the Fall major fundraiser, Taste for the Troops, along with various sub-committee reports including the July 4th celebration, care packages, outreach, and veteran-related initiatives, followed by new business.

The Committee reviewed financial reports from the Military Support Foundation and the City Military Support Committee account. Discussion items included operational updates from the 1st Marine Regiment, USS Stockdale, and 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment. The Committee also reviewed and discussed budgets, the updated Military Support Committee Sponsorship Program, and plans for the Fall 2026 major fundraiser, Taste for the Troops. Additionally, various sub-committee reports were heard regarding community outreach, event planning, and upcoming activities.

The agenda includes several administrative and infrastructure items, such as the review of warrants and payroll summaries, the receipt and filing of the investment report, and approval of an amendment for the La Paz Road and Cabot Road Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program. Additionally, the Council will consider a cooperative agreement for the Alicia Parkway Regional Traffic Signal Program, a new waste disposal agreement with Orange County, and sponsorships for local high school Grad Nite events. Other key items include a review of the recodification of the municipal code regarding Title 8 and a public hearing concerning the Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2026-2027.

The agenda includes a presentation from the Niguel Botanical Preserve. The committee will review and discuss various projects through its subcommittees, including community service programs, environmental sustainability and wellness with preparations for an upcoming Earth Day celebration, marketing and outreach initiatives, and youth events such as a movie in the park. Additionally, the committee will discuss a collaborative volunteer opportunity involving a beach cleanup with the Dana Point Youth Board.
