The board meeting included reports on actions taken in closed session regarding new administrative appointments. The Instructional Continuity Plan by Rocklin Unified School District is designed to ensure continuous high-quality teaching, learning, and student support services during emergencies. The plan focuses on comprehensive family engagement and communication, flexible instructional access through 'go-tech' and 'no-tech' models, and equitable distribution of resources including technology. Key areas include staff professional development for remote teaching, robust social-emotional and mental health supports, and sustained access to student nutrition and health services. It also outlines procedures for a safe, phased return to site-based learning and an annual review process for continuous improvement.
