The board meeting included reports on actions taken in closed session regarding new administrative appointments. Special recognitions were presented to a family partner in education for their long-term volunteerism with the high school softball program, and to an elementary school employee for their years of dedicated service. Additionally, the board recognized members of the color guard and student board representatives for their contributions during the school year. The board also introduced and welcomed a new assistant principal for the high school.

The Instructional Continuity Plan by Rocklin Unified School District is designed to ensure continuous high-quality teaching, learning, and student support services during emergencies. The plan focuses on comprehensive family engagement and communication, flexible instructional access through 'go-tech' and 'no-tech' models, and equitable distribution of resources including technology. Key areas include staff professional development for remote teaching, robust social-emotional and mental health supports, and sustained access to student nutrition and health services. It also outlines procedures for a safe, phased return to site-based learning and an annual review process for continuous improvement.
