The Committee discussed the recommendation of a resolution to support a Community Development Block Grant funding application for small diameter water line replacements. Additionally, the Committee reviewed various department reports including Facilities Maintenance, Utilities, Special Electronics, Streets, Solid Waste and Fleet, Cemetery, Parks, Recreation, Zoo, and Engineering.

A proposal for a temporary free museum membership program was reviewed to maintain community engagement during the ongoing facility closure. Regular items included the consideration of a public hearing for Ordinance 26-XX to amend code fines and penalties, a resolution for the demolition of four dilapidated structures, a budget adjustment for the police professional services line, and budget approval for the planning and design of the Roswell First Response Center.

The meeting included an overview of the FEMA project tracker, detailing project costs and milestone progress. Discussions were held regarding the financial plan, specifically focusing on gross receipts tax revenues, the timeline for issuing flood-recovery bonds, and related ordinances.
