This plan outlines the Wyandotte Public Schools' strategy for utilizing ARP/ESSER III funds to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan focuses on three main pillars: implementing prevention and mitigation strategies through facility upgrades and technology enhancements; addressing the academic impact of lost learning time via specialized teachers, counseling, summer programs, and curriculum; and responding to the comprehensive academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of all students. The overarching goal is to ensure a safe in-person learning environment, mitigate learning loss, and accelerate learning, with a particular focus on disproportionately impacted student subgroups.
