The Nunez Community College Strategic Plan (FY2023-2028) outlines goals to increase student access and success, eliminate equity gaps, and significantly increase adult education levels. Specific objectives include increasing enrollment, retention rates (fall-to-fall, fall-to-spring, and graduation rates), and the number of completers for various award levels (certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees). The plan also targets increasing the number of adult (25+) and underrepresented minority completers. Strategies to achieve these objectives include optimizing course schedules, increasing program manager engagement in student advising and mentoring, providing notifications of available resources, developing referral processes for tutoring and mentoring, and improving the pre-requisite/co-requisite process. The plan acknowledges potential external factors such as economic downturns and changes in federal policy that could affect its goals.
