Board of Directors of West View Water Authority Minutes of a Meeting
The Board of Directors discussed a variety of business items, including the adoption of an Act 57 Tap-In Fee schedule and new service connection charges. Numerous contracts were awarded, including those for the purchase of liquid chlorine, ductile iron water line pipe and fittings, and a water main installation project. Several bids were rejected or rescinded, and the Board authorized installations for THM removal, ratified professional service payments for reservoir inspections, and extended a consulting agreement. Additionally, the Board authorized various grant applications for infrastructure projects, approved painting for the water treatment plant and raw water intake facility, received a lead service line replacement update, and reviewed and approved multiple change orders for existing infrastructure contracts.
