Key actions taken included approving three applications for the community improvement plan, supporting a preliminary design concept for the Sunshine Sky subdivision, and granting pre-budget approval for the purchase of new snow plow equipment to avoid future emission standard fees. Additionally, the council discussed a housekeeping update to the administrative monetary penalty system bylaw to incorporate clean yards and park use schedules.

The Council meeting involved a presentation regarding a design vision for a 56-acre parcel of land, focusing on street design, pedestrian connections, and human-centered planning. The council also received an operational update from Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario, covering challenges such as province-wide driver shortages and the consortium's efforts in managing school bus services across their rural service area.

The meeting included discussions on several waterfront projects and community initiatives. Key topics included updates on the concert series and amphitheater, fundraising progress for the Earl Baker Park multi-use pad, and staffing updates for by-law officers. The committee also addressed concerns regarding beach overcrowding and the provincial alcohol in parks policy, reviewed new park signage, and discussed the status of various budget-related projects such as crosswalk painting and upcoming movie events. Additional business covered the relocation of dog waste receptacles, plans for relocating a bike rack, and the potential installation of a new welcome sign.

The council meeting addressed the deferral of a proposed zoning bylaw for further discussion. Additionally, the Glengary Inter Agency Group provided a presentation regarding their proposed daycare project in Iroquois. The council discussed the project's potential to support local families, improve workforce development, and address the current lack of licensed child care spaces in the community.
