The meeting will include a citizens forum, consideration of consent and main agendas, recognition of the board chairman and a scholarship recipient, a presentation on agriculture in Henry County, and new teacher recognition. Reports from the Family Resource Center and a facilities update will be given. The board will discuss and potentially adopt a strategic plan, a draft 2024-2025 meeting calendar, and board retreat dates/structure. Policy recommendations will be reviewed, including those related to Title IX, sexual harassment, visitors to schools, the school calendar, fiscal management, surplus property sales, travel regulations, bids and quotations, emergency preparedness, community use of school facilities, student transportation, class size ratios, family life curriculum, artificial intelligence, interscholastic athletics, library materials, the grading system, promotion and retention, physical assault leave, substitute teachers, the director of schools' qualifications, school admissions, admission of suspended or expelled students, the code of conduct, zero tolerance offenses, reporting child abuse, and opioid antagonists. Budget revisions and the chairman's and director's reports will also be presented.

The meeting will include student recognition, recognition of contest winners and teachers, policy recommendations (first and second readings) covering business management, building and grounds management, crisis management, equipment and supplies, waste reduction, federal title programs, scheduling and routing, and special use of school vehicles. A facilities and grounds committee recommendation will be addressed, along with budget revisions and a facilities update. The chairman and director will present reports.
