The Zero2 Plan is a ten-year strategic initiative by Saint Paul Public Schools aimed at operating federally funded meal programs to achieve zero hunger and zero waste solutions. Its main strategic pillars include implementing Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Guidelines, pursuing specific Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Goals, and enhancing Reuse, Recycling, and Compost Collection within the Nutrition Center and schools. The plan's vision is to establish a financially and environmentally sustainable foundation for future project phases to end hunger and reduce waste for students and the community.
