Key budget changes included increases in organic and solid waste disposal costs, equipment replacement, and water department capital, as well as decreases in central garage diesel fuel and equipment costs.

The Village Board of Trustees held a work session to discuss the FY 2025-2026 Third Pass Budget. The discussion included changes from the second to the third pass, a summary of revenue and expenses, revenue summaries, line-item revenue details, expense summaries, fund balance, and expense details for various departments such as General Government, Public Works, Public Safety, and Parks, Recreation and Conservation. Capital requests by department and funding source, a tax rate overview, and a budget summary were also part of the discussion.

The Village Board of Trustees convened for a meeting where several key issues were addressed.
