The committee reviewed the 2026 seasonal service plans, which include the Lake George Trolley, Nature Bus, Saratoga Summer Trolley, and Grafton State Park service. Additionally, the committee discussed the monthly earned media and community engagement report, highlighting growth across social media platforms, recent press releases, and upcoming organizational events such as the CDPHP Cycle! kickoff, the annual retiree luncheon, and the annual Roadeo and family fun day.

The committee discussed the appointment of a slate of officers for the upcoming fiscal year for recommendation to the board. Additionally, administrative discussions were held concerning the review of committee agendas for the board meeting, and an update was provided regarding the status of the state budget and transportation funding.

The committee discussed several procurement and operational items, including contracts for full-enclosure operator barriers, ITS modular work trailer leases, antifreeze, and color destination signs for the BRT fleet. Additionally, the committee conducted an annual review and approval of the Investment Policy, reviewed monthly financial and non-financial performance reports, and received an update on internal audit activities, including risk assessments and policy reviews. The agenda also included approvals for the purchase of diesel exhaust fluid, on-street information kiosks, collision avoidance system pilot programs, medium- and heavy-duty wreckers, hybrid buses, and paratransit vehicles.

The committee reviewed improved scheduling practices, specifically focusing on the implementation of CSched methodology to enhance on-time performance. This included a review of past systemwide performance trends, the impact of service expansions on schedule reliability, and the progress made through cycle time analysis and route pairing. Additionally, the committee discussed upcoming service optimization schedules for Schenectady, Saratoga, and Glens Falls, as well as future recalibration efforts for Albany transit services.

The Capital District Transportation Authority's Title VI Program ensures compliance with federal regulations, particularly FTA Circular C 4702.1B, and promotes equitable resource distribution within its six-county service area. This program integrates policies on major service changes, disparate impact, disproportionate burden, and a public participation plan, alongside an updated Limited English Proficiency Language Assistance Plan. Its core commitments are to provide nondiscriminatory transit services, mitigate adverse effects on minority and low-income populations, facilitate inclusive decision-making, prevent benefit denials, and ensure accessible programs for persons with limited English proficiency.
