The meeting included the introduction of new police and administrative staff, as well as a presentation regarding a donation campaign for Gilpin County student school supplies. The council held a public hearing and approved a reimbursement agreement with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Additionally, the council awarded a bid and approved a contract for the renovation of the Ballard House and the addition to the Barn Shed project. The City Manager also provided an update on traffic study correspondence sent to Central City regarding potential system impacts.
