The commission discussed the establishment of an Ethics Commission Communications Policy and resolved to form an Ad Hoc Committee to work on the draft. Commissioners Fiedler and Shotwell were formally appointed to this committee. Furthermore, the commission received a status update regarding the Ethics Education Program.

The meeting featured a presentation for the 30th Anniversary of Comprehensive Child Development, Inc., alongside public comments regarding a local Veterans' Job Fair and softball league operations. The council authorized the annual assessment report for the Long Beach Tourism Business Improvement Area and approved an amendment to a pipeline crossing agreement. Additionally, the council awarded a contract for architectural and engineering services for the Sorrento Alamitos Bay Shoreline Trail project and initiated a contract for overhead door services.
