The Board of Trustees held a meeting to discuss and take action on a resignation and release agreement regarding a term contract employee. Following an executive session to consult with legal counsel, the Board approved the resignation agreement as presented and formally rescinded a previous action regarding the proposed non-renewal of that employee's contract.

The board meeting included recognitions of students for academic and extracurricular achievements. Public comments addressed concerns regarding teacher turnover, work-life balance, and bullying. The Superintendent provided updates on district celebrations, academic achievements, facility improvement projects including HVAC installations, afterschool programs, and student graduation preparations. Various Memorandums of Understanding for the upcoming school year and service agreements were approved. Additionally, the board held an executive session regarding personnel matters and the Superintendent's employment contract, resulting in an extension of the contract term.

The Board of Managers held a meeting which included remarks from a representative of the Texas Education Agency regarding Teacher Appreciation Week and the importance of high-quality instruction. During the executive session, the Board deliberated on personnel matters. Following the executive session, the Board voted to move forward with the nonrenewal of a term contract employee and the termination of a probationary contract employee.

The council meeting covered departmental reports for Health Services, including ongoing efforts to finalize immunization and screening reports and ensure documentation standards for nursing staff. A community member provided information regarding an upcoming end-of-year event and the subsequent program evaluation process. Other business focused on strategies for parent recruitment, specifically targeting representation across elementary, middle, and high school levels, and exploring potential partnerships and strategies modeled after other school districts.
