The LTG ReSet Project, a three-year grant initiative by the Elmira City School District in partnership with the University of Rochester, aimed at reimagining and systemically transforming educational practices through technology for grades 9-12. The project focused on three main goals: increasing capacity for digitally rich learning environments, leveraging technology for enhanced access to learning, and utilizing educational technology to improve learning outcomes for all students. Key focus areas included high-leverage teaching practices such as eliciting student prior knowledge, providing directions for independent work, conveying content online, sharing student work, synthesizing learning, and giving feedback. The initiative successfully created digitally rich and responsive learning environments, increased student engagement, and fostered college and career readiness, with a sustainability plan established to continue these efforts.
