The City of Milton's Local Road Safety Plan serves as a guiding framework to enhance the safety of its transportation network for drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. The plan strategically focuses on improvements through engineering countermeasures, educational campaigns, and enforcement strategies, aiming to preserve the city's rural heritage and improve its quality of life. Key emphasis areas include addressing vehicle speeds, distracted driving, roadway and shoulder conditions, and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, equestrians, and intersections, as well as mitigating wildlife encounters. The plan also specifically considers safety for multimodal gravel roads and Personal Transportation Vehicles.

This document assesses the projected impacts of the Destination Deerfield project over the next decade on local government services, schools, utilities, and transportation. It indicates that existing police and fire capacities are sufficient for future demand, and Fulton County public schools are not expected to exceed capacity due to downward enrollment trends. Utility infrastructure is anticipated to expand incrementally without negative effects. The transportation network is projected to maintain or improve service at key intersections through planned roadway projects, with increased density contributing to fewer cars due to connected, walkable districts.

A presentation was given by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections regarding the final report on the North Fulton County Voter Initiative, highlighting a 9.21% increase in active voters in North Fulton County during the 2012 presidential election year. Following this, the Council recognized and presented five-year anniversary service award pens to staff members who had served since the city's incorporation in 2007, including members from code enforcement, fire department, and police department. The meeting also addressed an ordinance amendment requiring pawn brokers to assign sequential transaction numbers.
