Waller ISD Academic Strategic Plan 2026-2031
This Academic Strategic Plan serves as a comprehensive districtwide roadmap aimed at enhancing student success and shaping the future. It is anchored by a new mission, vision, and four core values (Trust, Excellence, Accountability, Mission-Driven Leadership). The plan outlines three strategic priorities: Integrated Student Support Systems, Academic Experience, and Instructional Leadership and Capacity Building, which focus on creating supportive learning environments, strengthening instruction, and building staff capacity. Additionally, it establishes a 'Portrait of a Graduate' emphasizing academic and lifelong learning, collaboration, responsibility, perseverance, character, ethics, leadership, and community engagement, with the ultimate goal of improving student outcomes and ensuring access to exceptional academic experiences.
